Financial Controller

Gränges is now seeking to strengthen the parent company by recruiting a Financial Controller. We are looking for someone who thrives in a high performing environment and wants to continue to develop and streamline financial processes and tools. About the position

As Financial Controller you will have the overall responsibility for the parent company Gränges AB, including governance, follow-up and analysis. You will have close interactions with the finance departments of Gränges’ subsidiaries as well as group functions such as treasury, controlling, HR and executive management. You will also team up with Group accounting to help with the consolidation and group accounting matters.  

As Financial Controller you will report to VP Group Accounting. The position is located at Gränges’ head office in central Stockholm. Gränges also offer their employees a flexible working environment allowing remote and hybrid working.

Key responsibilities

• Monthly closing, reporting and analysis, including budget follow-up of the company’s cost centers
• Preparation of external quarterly reports and annual reports
• A part of consolidation and group accounting tasks
• Liquidity forecasting
• Tax calculation
• Management fee calculation, invoicing and final reconciliation
• In charge of the annual budget process for Gränges AB
• Management of group-wide insurance
• Projects and investigations in matters related to IFRS, transfer pricing, or tax etc.
• Drive improvements, automatization and efficiency work

What we are looking for

You have a university degree in Finance or Business Administration. After that you have a minimum of 3 years working experience from auditing, financial control or accounting. You are fluent in English and have excellent skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

As a person you see yourself as a typical ”doer” with high efficiency in your work. You are conscientious and motivated by responsibility, both while working individually and in teams. It is also important that you are communicative and can easily adapt to your surroundings since this position includes many social interactions. Finally, you have a great sense of accuracy and the ability to structure financial information and data.
