Gränges issues SEK 600 million in Green Bonds
Gränges has successfully issued two five-year senior unsecured green bonds with a combined size of SEK 600 million under the company’s Medium-Term Note (MTN) program. Of the total amount, SEK 400 million carries a coupon of 3-month Stibor plus 1.25 percent, and SEK 200 million carries a fixed coupon of 4.15 percent. The bonds mature in 2031.
The proceeds from the green bonds will be allocated to eligible green projects in accordance with Gränges’ Green Finance Framework.
“We are pleased to once again see strong interest from our investor base. This reflects confidence in our strategic direction and sustainability ambitions,” said Gränges’ CFO, Oskar Hellström.
In connection with the issuance, Gränges repurchased SEK 416 million of its outstanding Sustainability-Linked Bond due in September 2026.
Nordea and SEB acted as Joint Lead Managers on the transaction.
Gränges published an updated Green Finance Framework on October 31, 2024. More information about the framework is available on Gränges’ website: https://www.granges.com/investors/credit-market/
